My kids are finally at the age where they can start to do arts and crafts, so that's cool. However I am pretty terrible at putting things together. So here is my lame attempt at a gingerbread house. Noah and Rylan did an awesome job placing the candies on the house, I mean come on they're only two and four. I on the other hand completely screwed up putting the icing on. First of all I made it way too thin so it dripped everywhere and secondly I am terrible at putting icing on any baked good so the odds were against me from the start. It's all good though, the kids mutilate the gingerbread house anyways when they start ripping pieces of candy off of it to consume. In conclusion the kids and I had a great time together and really that's what matters.
